What a spectacular view this was, Sunday June 13th at sunset. We have been out on the road for a few weeks down to Scottsdale AZ, it was 110 when we left. 115 in Bullhead City, 106 in Las Vegas and when we went over the Hover Dam, so it is really great to get back to Boulder County. It did not rain once while we were gone, it waited till we got back and rained for 4 days. LOVED every minute of it. It is is views like this that make living in Boulder County the BEST! Over the ages, westerly winds picked up sand particles from the river flood plain.
