Fantastic Golfers Ending

Golfers Ending Art Prints

A golfers ending to the perfect day on the golf course. The smell of the greens, perfect weather and a beautiful sunset to top it off.  This is a public view  of Twin Peaks Municipal Golf Course, Longmont, Colorado, Boulder County.

Are you a golfer? I am not.  Wish I was, had the opportunity but never took the time.

This is a magical time on the course when all the golfers are finishing up their rounds and the resident come out with their dogs or to just walk around and take in all the scenery and get some exercise.

Great view to add to your home or office if you are always dreaming of being on the course or need some motivation to work on your game.

Here are some fun golf facts

  • The modern game originated in Scotland, where the first written record of golf is James II’s banning of the game in 1457, as an unwelcome distraction to learning archery.
  • It is documented as being played on Musselburgh Links, East Lothian, Scotland as early as 2 March 1672, which is certified as the oldest golf course in the world by Guinness World Records.
  • Golf is unique in having lucrative competition for older players.
  • Golf is one of dozens of independent sports like running or swimming.
  • It can help keep you active, burn calories, stay in shape, lower cholesterol, reduce the risk of heart disease and research shows it may even help you live longer.

Autumn Season Aspen Grove Panorama View

Autumn SeasoAspen Panorama Scenic View

A very large stitched together panorama scenic landscape view of a beautiful colorful aspen grove in the Colorado autumn season.  What is your favorite Season?  I want to say Autumn is mine with all the colors and the weather being perfect.  It’s the best sleeping weather too, after hot summer days the autumn crisp nights are a great treat.

I lived in Arizona for twenty years after leaving Boulder, I used to tell people if you give me a choice between the mountains and the ocean, hands down I would pick the mountains… but how I ended up in the desert I will never know.  Well actually I do know, but that is another story.

Arizona has seasons but not the full 4 seasons and I forgot how much I missed them from growing up in PA.  But to be fair to Arizona it does have it all if you travel to them,  from the desert to the mountains. But if you live in the desert like I did the seasons are different.

For example spring can be like our summer here.  You plant your garden in late February something I could never get used too.

After returning to Colorado every season gets me excited for the next.  Storm season is just around the corner here in Colorado and when I say storm season I mean extreme weather that storm chasers like.  This will be my 30th year chasing storms but I am mainly a Lightning Catcher. I have never been into tornadoes or flying cows.

Anyway back to the Autumn season when all the colors really start to show up and the crisp clean air with wildlife getting ready for the winter season. And when the first snow starts to fall it gets us in the spirit for the Holiday season. And after that for vacation season to escape the snow for some warm tropical climate.  Always a great way to break it up.

It is a real change here when all this disappears to snow.  A lot of this has so much snow you can only get here by snow shoes or skies.  And that makes it all more exciting.   Hope you enjoy this panorama and can imagine yourself hanging out here clearing your mind by taking a walk in the woods.  Thanks for the visit.

Boulder Colorado Downtown City Lights Scenic Sunrise Panorama

City Of Boulder Colorado Downtown Scenic Sunrise Panorama

One of the best views and short drives is up Flagstaff Mountain that towers over the city of Boulder.  It is a great winding road that is fun to drive….  if you like big winding roads.   This is a scenic view of the city in the early morning right before the sun rises above the horizon and the city lights are still on.  You start to hear the birds chirping and watch the city wake up.  Not to mention the crisp morning air.

There are many place to hang out and take it all in.  The light is always changing and you never know what wildlife you will run into. So if you have never been here please put this on your list and take the drive up Baseline Road as it ends up with spactaular views of Boulder and also to the right of this view is an excellent view of the University.  I hope this image takes you back home or brings back some great Boulder memories.
